How the Setup Works

Place CDX in a compatible reactor configured for air filtration. Connect the reactor outlet to the protein skimmer’s air intake using suitable tubing and a CDX adaptor or compatible reducing fitting. Air passes through the media before entering the skimmer. Follow the media and equipment instructions, and confirm that your connections allow the skimmer to draw air properly.

• CDX is used on the skimmer’s air supply; it should not be poured into your aquarium or used as ordinary submerged filter media.
