10-Pack Blue Leg Hermit Crabs (Clibanarius tricolor)

Build a healthier, cleaner reef aquarium with this 10-Pack of Blue Leg Hermit Crabs. These active scavengers are among the most popular members of any saltwater cleanup crew, constantly searching your aquarium for nuisance algae, leftover food, detritus, and organic waste.

Blue Leg Hermits are well-known for their vibrant blue legs, entertaining personalities, and ability to reach small crevices where snails often can't. Their constant grazing helps reduce algae growth while keeping live rock and substrate cleaner.

Whether you're starting a new reef or strengthening an established cleanup crew, Blue Leg Hermit Crabs are a hardworking addition to nearly any marine aquarium.

Compatibility

Blue Leg Hermit Crabs are compatible with most reef-safe fish, corals, shrimp, snails, and other invertebrates. They spend their day grazing on nuisance algae and scavenging leftover food throughout the aquarium.

Because hermit crabs periodically outgrow their shells, providing a variety of empty shells in different sizes is recommended. This helps reduce competition and encourages natural shell-swapping behavior.

Avoid housing with large predatory fish such as Triggerfish, Puffers, Hawkfish, and larger Wrasses that may prey on small crustaceans.
