Quick Care Guide

You receive: One starfish; brown or black tones common.
Diet: Small marine meaty foods and leftover food; target-feed near its hiding place.
Aquarium: Established saltwater system with stable chemistry, suitable feeding surfaces and shelter.

Setup & Compatibility

Feed deliberately rather than relying on waste alone. Avoid aggressive fish, sudden salinity changes and rough handling of its arms.

Water & Acclimation

Maintain approximately 75–78°F. Keep specific gravity near 1.024–1.026 and pH 8.1–8.4 with consistent water quality. Follow the supplied acclimation instructions and avoid sudden salinity changes, copper medication and rough handling.

Live Animal Notice

Photos show representative examples, not the exact animal shipped. Individual size, coloration and appearance vary naturally. Allow the animal time to settle after arrival.

Prepare for Arrival

Prepare with acclimation equipment, a reliable salinity tester and foods suited to this animal. Avoid copper-based medications in systems containing invertebrates.
