Its space-saving configuration positions the Aquatrance 2000s pinwheel pump externally beneath the skimmer body. This reduces the clearance needed behind the aquarium while limiting heat transfer from the pump into the water.

The efficient pinwheel pump creates a fine mixture of air and water to remove proteins, dissolved organic waste and other pollutants before they break down. An adjustable surface skimmer helps collect organic buildup from the water’s surface, while the included air silencer supports quieter operation.

The maximum 200-gallon rating applies to lightly stocked systems. Aquariums with large fish, frequent feeding or heavier organic loads should follow the medium- or heavy-bioload ratings.
