ORA Aquacultured Tuxedo Urchin (Mespilia globulus) 0.5–1.0"
Add one of the most colorful and beneficial members of the clean-up crew to your reef aquarium with the ORA Aquacultured Tuxedo Urchin. Known for its striking blue and black coloration and unique habit of carrying shells, rubble, and small objects across its body, the Tuxedo Urchin is both an effective algae grazer and a fascinating centerpiece for any reef tank.
Aquacultured by ORA, these captive-raised urchins are hardy, well-adapted to aquarium life, and help reduce pressure on wild reef populations. They spend their days grazing on film algae, microalgae, and other nuisance algae while adding constant activity to your aquarium.

Compatibility
Tuxedo Urchins are peaceful and compatible with most reef-safe fish, corals, shrimp, snails, and other invertebrates. They are excellent algae grazers and are especially useful in mature reef aquariums with established rockwork.
Because they are surprisingly strong for their size, they may pick up loose frag plugs, shells, or small decorations while foraging. Secure newly placed coral frags before introducing an urchin.
Avoid housing with large Triggerfish, Puffers, or other predators that may attack echinoderms.
