A branching trumpet coral with fleshy polyps and bright coloration.
Care & Placement
You receive: One frag, approximately ¾–1 inch with 1–2 polyps.
Lighting: Low–moderate.
Water flow: Moderate indirect.
Aquarium: Established reef with stable salinity and water chemistry.
Leave space around expanded polyps and keep sediment off the tissue. Offer small marine foods when feeding tentacles are extended.
Feeding & Water Quality
Photosynthesis supplies much of its nutrition. Offer small marine or coral foods sparingly if accepted; avoid leaving uneaten food in the aquarium. Aim for approximately 75–78°F, specific gravity 1.024–1.026 and pH 8.1–8.4. Maintain stable alkalinity around 8–12 dKH, calcium 400–450 ppm and magnesium 1250–1400 ppm; avoid rapid corrections.
Acclimation & Growth
Follow the supplied acclimation guidance and adjust reef lighting gradually. Inspect new additions, consider quarantine, and use any coral dip only as its label directs. Leave room for growth and monitor contact with neighboring livestock.
Live Animal Notice
Photos show representative examples, not the exact animal shipped. Size, coloration, shape and polyp extension vary naturally. Livestock may arrive contracted and require time to settle.
