Keep compatible aquarium circulation pumps powered when mains power fails. The IceCap Battery Backup v3.0 switches automatically and can supply two supported flow pumps. Runtime depends on pump load, controller behavior and battery condition.
Compatibility matters
Listed pump families include supported Maxspect Gyre, IceCap Gyre and Reef Octopus Octo Pulse models. HYDROS WaveEngine installations require the appropriate HYDROS IceCap battery cable kit, sold separately. Confirm the exact pump and controller combination before ordering.
Not compatible: Reef Octopus VarioS, EcoTech, Tunze or AI Nero pumps. This is a DC flow-pump backup, not an AC outlet power station for heaters or a whole aquarium.
