Aquarium Setup & Compatibility

Reef compatibility with caution: may nip corals and clam mantles. Usually best as the only dwarf angelfish in a modest-sized system.

Feeding for Long-Term Success

Omnivore: marine algae, spirulina, marine angelfish preparations and mysis; offer regular meals and mature rockwork for grazing.

Water & Arrival

Provide a fully cycled, stable marine aquarium around 75–78°F, specific gravity 1.024–1.026 and pH 8.1–8.4. Ammonia and nitrite should be undetectable. Follow the supplied arrival instructions and avoid abrupt salinity or temperature changes. Use a covered aquarium and species-appropriate quarantine setup.
