Dymax Nitrogen Plus Planted Aquarium Supplement – 500 ml
Add a targeted nitrogen source when your freshwater plants need more than the aquarium currently provides. Nitrogen Plus contains nitrate and ammonia nitrogen sources and is designed especially for planted aquariums with little or no fish.
Why your plants may need it
A planted tank with few fish can have a different nutrient supply from a heavily stocked aquarium. Nitrogen Plus lets you supplement nitrogen separately instead of increasing every fertilizer at once. Check water conditions and your existing routine before adding it.
When to choose Nitrogen Plus
- Your lightly stocked or fishless planted aquarium needs additional nitrogen.
- You want to adjust nitrogen separately from mineral and trace-element supplementation.
- You are monitoring the aquarium and dosing to its needs rather than adding every supplement automatically.
If your aquarium already has sufficient nitrogen, you may not need this bottle. Nitrogen Plus and Flora Plus are complementary: nitrogen support from this product and iron/trace minerals from Flora Plus. A nitrate reading alone does not identify every possible growth problem.
Specifications
- Brand: Dymax.
- Size: one 500 ml bottle.
- SKU: DM-NOP738.
- Application: freshwater planted aquariums.
- Concentrated blend of nitrogen sources, including nitrates and ammonia.
- Designed especially for systems with little or no fish.
How to use
Follow the current bottle label for dose and frequency, based on actual water volume. Test nitrate before dosing and consider fish stocking, food and other fertilizers. Because the formula includes ammonia nitrogen, follow the label carefully and monitor ammonia in stocked tanks. Avoid extra doses based only on leaf appearance. This product supplies plant nutrients; it does not remove ammonia or replace biological filtration.
Build your plant-care routine
