Works across compatible brands: Use with other regulated CO₂ systems when tubing, pressure and application requirements match. It is not limited to CarbonDoser equipment.
- John Guest-style push-fit connections for ¼-inch outside-diameter tubing.
- Use correctly sized CO₂-resistant polyurethane tubing. Silicone tubing will not seal correctly.
- Approximately 4 psi cracking pressure: the system must provide enough pressure difference to open the valve, plus pressure required downstream.
- Corrosion-resistant internal components; disassembles for periodic cleaning.
Install with the flow arrow toward the aquarium or reactor. Inspect and maintain the valve according to the supplied instructions; mineral buildup can prevent it closing properly.
Includes: one check valve. Tubing, cylinder and regulator sold separately. The CarbonDoser V2 regulator kit already includes a check valve; this separate item is useful as a replacement or spare.
