Blue Life Phosphate Rx is a liquid phosphate-control product for freshwater and saltwater aquariums. It binds dissolved phosphate into particles that can be captured by filtration, making testing and appropriate mechanical filtration essential parts of its use.

Before dosing

• Measure phosphate and calculate actual aquarium water volume.
• Use a suitable fine filter sock to collect the precipitate; Blue Life recommends 5–10 microns.
• Dose into the overflow or skimmer chamber rather than directly into the display.
• Adjust gradually and avoid unnecessary nutrient depletion.

Important precautions

The manufacturer limits phosphate reduction to 0.5 ppm over 24 hours and advises waiting 24 hours before retesting. Yellow tangs and some wrasses may be sensitive; follow the label and Blue Life's guidance for dividing the dose. Temporary cloudiness can occur during treatment.
