Build Your Reef — Suggested Add-Ons

Adjust quantities to your aquascape and livestock. All add-ons sold separately.

• Marco Reef Saver rock: start around 100–130 lb for an open aquascape. Quantity 1 = 1 lb; 10 lb minimum.
• Marco Premium Shelf rock: substitute 20–30 lb of that total for coral ledges; sold per pound, 10 lb minimum.
• Marco Bahama aragonite sand: roughly four 22.5 lb bags (90 lb) for a shallow bed; depth varies with rock displacement. Rinse before use.
• 2 × Kessil AP9X reef lights: distribute along the six-foot display; tune height and intensity using PAR measurements. Hanging kits sold separately; use suitable overhead support.
• Simplicity 3200DC return pump: adjustable output; account for head loss and match the overflow and plumbing.
• Simplicity 540DC skimmer: a heavier-bioload option; check water depth, footprint and cup-removal clearance.
• Maxspect XF350 Cloud two-pump kit: 20 mm magnet limit suits the 19 mm glass. Start low and adjust flow around corals and sand.
• PodDrop Ultimate copepods + VITAL-5 phytoplankton: seed suitable habitat after cycling and feed conservatively per label. Pods do not replace nitrifying bacteria or cycling.
