Directions for Use
- Bring the shipment indoors immediately after delivery.
- Inspect the sealed culture before opening or adding it to the aquarium.
- If the container temperature differs significantly from the aquarium, briefly float the sealed container to reduce the temperature difference.
- Add the culture to the display, sump, refugium, or dedicated culture system.
- For the best chance of establishment, introduce copepods after the aquarium lights have turned off.
- Temporary changes to filtration, pumps, or UV sterilization are optional and depend on the individual aquarium system.
- Monitor livestock behavior and water quality following introduction.
Use promptly after arrival and follow all instructions provided on the product label.
Storage and Handling
Protect the culture from direct sunlight and temperature extremes. Do not freeze. Use clean equipment and avoid introducing aquarium water into the original container.
Holding time, aeration, and feeding requirements can vary between species and package formats. Follow the product-specific label rather than relying on a generic storage schedule.

- Fulfillment may be delayed during unsafe weather or carrier conditions
- Someone should be available for the carrier’s first delivery attempt
- Live and perishable products cannot be returned after shipment
Delivery concerns must be reported within two hours of the carrier’s recorded delivery. Keep the culture and all original packaging and provide clear photographs or video of the culture, shipping box, insulation, shipping label, and any visible damage.
