This specialized OR4 model concentrates its output in the 420–430 nm violet range. It is designed to complement full-spectrum reef lighting, intensify fluorescent coral pigments and add targeted violet wavelengths that may be limited in standard aquarium fixtures.

Use it alongside an Orphek Natura iCon, Atlantik iCon or another reef light, or combine multiple OR4 bars to create a customized lighting system.

Focused Violet Actinic Spectrum

The OR4 iCon Violet concentrates its output in the 420–430 nm wavelength range for strong actinic fluorescence without the deeper near-UV wavelengths found in the OR4 iCon UV/Violet model.

This spectrum is ideal for:

Selecting the Correct Size

Choose the bar that most closely matches the illuminated length of your aquarium. Multiple bars may be combined for broader coverage, increased intensity or a customized spectrum.

Violet lighting should be introduced gradually when added to an established reef aquarium. Begin at a reduced intensity and increase slowly while monitoring coral response.
