Important Sizing Information
The 110-gallon rating is a recommended maximum under suitable operating conditions. Actual cooling performance depends on aquarium volume, ambient room temperature, lighting, pumps, equipment heat, ventilation and the difference between the room temperature and desired water temperature.
For demanding applications, warmer rooms or systems requiring a substantial temperature reduction, selecting a larger-capacity chiller may provide better performance.
This unit maintains temperatures within its specified 65°F–80°F operating range and should not be purchased for applications requiring water temperatures below 65°F.
Installation and Ventilation
Install the chiller in a dry, well-ventilated indoor location. The manufacturer recommends leaving approximately 24 inches of open space around the unit for proper airflow and heat dissipation.
