The 525 G3 uses 0.59-inch ultra-clear front and side glass and a new Euro-braced design for additional structural strength.

3x ReefLED G2 115 Lighting

The MAX 525 G3 includes three ReefLED G2 115 fixtures, creating a complete lighting system across the 59-inch display.

The G2 platform provides a reef-focused spectrum adjustable from a natural 10,000K reef-white appearance through 23,000K REEF-SPEC Blue, with violet and UV wavelengths and a dedicated moonlight channel.

ReefBeat control provides access to scheduling, acclimation, lunar cycles, cloud effects, and lighting customization.

Dual ReefWave 45 Circulation

Two ReefWave 45 pumps are included to create broad, powerful water movement throughout the aquarium.

The MAX 525 G3 includes 2 × ReefWave 45 pumps, each rated up to approximately 3,960 GPH, providing the circulation needed for demanding mixed and SPS reef systems.

ReefRun G2 6000 Return Pump

The included ReefRun G2 6000 DC return pump provides adjustable return flow of approximately 950–1,700 GPH.

Generation 3 also introduces redesigned hydrodynamic plumbing capable of increased circulation compared with previous REEFER generations, along with the ReefGate precision gate valve for easier and quieter downflow adjustment.

REEFER DC 600 Protein Skimmer

Protein filtration is handled by the included REEFER DC 600 Skimmer.

Its DC platform adds Red Sea's smart Self-Leveling technology, designed to respond to over-skimming conditions and help prevent collection cup overflow while maintaining aeration.

This brings protein skimming into the same smart ecosystem as the rest of the MAX system.

ReefMat 1200 Automatic Fleece Filtration

The ReefMat 1200 automatically advances fleece as debris accumulates, providing continuous mechanical filtration without the constant cleaning associated with traditional filter socks.

ReefBeat integration provides smart monitoring of the filtration system and fleece usage.

ReefATO+ Included

The MAX 525 G3 also includes ReefATO+, combining automatic top-off with temperature monitoring and leak detection.
