Designed specifically for smaller saltwater aquariums, NanoMat continuously removes suspended waste and debris using an automatically advancing fleece roll, helping maintain clear aquarium water while dramatically reducing the routine cleaning associated with filter socks and pads.

Its compact, plug-and-play design fits standard 4-inch filter sock holders and is designed as a drop-in replacement in compatible Red Sea systems, making automated fleece filtration accessible even when sump space is limited.

Automatic Mechanical Filtration

As aquarium water passes through the fleece, suspended particles, detritus, uneaten food, and other debris are captured before they can continue circulating through the system.

As the fleece becomes loaded, the NanoMat automatically advances fresh fleece into position.

Instead of repeatedly removing and washing filter socks, the dirty fleece is gradually collected on the take-up roll while fresh filtration material is supplied automatically.

Smart Operation Without an App

NanoMat uses a processor-controlled drive unit and solid-state water-level sensors to determine when fresh fleece is needed.

Unlike the larger ReefMat models, NanoMat does not require an app or internet connection to operate.

It also features an automatic shutdown function designed to prevent unnecessary fleece consumption when abnormal water levels are detected, such as during aquarium maintenance.

Compact Drop-In Design

NanoMat was created for systems where traditional fleece rollers may simply be too large.

It's compatible with standard 4-inch filter sock holders and selected Red Sea aquariums, including compatible MAX NANO and REEFER systems. Exact compatibility varies by aquarium generation and model, so customers should verify fitment before purchase.

NanoMat uses a 50 gsm nonwoven polyester fleece designed for efficient mechanical filtration while remaining skimmer-friendly.
