Add mesmerizing movement to your reef with Pulsing Xenia Coral, a popular soft coral known for its distinctive feathery polyps that rhythmically open and close.
With pink to purple coloration and short branching stalks, Pulsing Xenia can create a constantly moving display as a colony becomes established. It's also a beginner-friendly soft coral and can spread quickly under favorable aquarium conditions.
This listing is for one Small Pulsing Xenia Coral frag.

Placement & Growth
Pulsing Xenia is known for its ability to spread across available surfaces once established.
Because of its fast growth, consider placing it on an isolated rock or dedicated Xenia island. This gives the coral room to develop into a colony while making its spread easier to manage.
In the right conditions, Xenia can quickly become a prominent feature of the aquarium, so plan its placement with future growth in mind.
Lighting & Water Flow
Provide low to moderate reef lighting and low to moderate water movement.
Flow should gently move the coral without continuously blasting the polyps. Gradual acclimation to your aquarium's lighting and flow conditions is recommended.
Feeding & Nutrition
Pulsing Xenia receives much of its nutritional needs through photosynthesis and generally does not require direct target feeding.
Maintaining stable water chemistry and appropriate nutrient levels is more important than frequent supplemental feeding.
Recommended Water Parameters
Temperature: 75–80°F
Specific Gravity: 1.023–1.026
pH: 8.1–8.4

Calcium: 400–450 ppm
Consistent, stable conditions are more important than targeting one exact value within each range.
