The ORA Lightning Maroon Clownfish is a spectacular designer clownfish recognized for its dramatic white markings, which spread across its deep red-to-maroon body like flashes of lightning.
Every fish develops a naturally unique pattern. As the clownfish matures and its body becomes darker, the contrasting white markings may continue to change and become even more striking.
Captive-bred by ORA, the Lightning Maroon is hardy and well adapted to aquarium life. However, it retains the bold, territorial personality associated with Maroon Clownfish and requires careful consideration when selecting tankmates or attempting to form a pair.

Diet and Feeding
The Lightning Maroon Clownfish is an omnivore and should receive a varied marine diet that includes:
-
High-quality marine pellets
-
Marine flakes
-
Frozen mysis shrimp
-
Enriched brine shrimp
-
Finely chopped marine foods
Feed small portions two or three times daily, providing only what the fish can consume within a few minutes.
Compatibility
Maroon Clownfish are more territorial than most Ocellaris and Percula clownfish. Provide adequate swimming space, live-rock hiding places and carefully selected tankmates.
This fish is best maintained singly or as part of an established pair. Two randomly selected Maroon Clownfish should not be placed together without a carefully managed pairing process. Significant aggression may occur while dominance is established.
An anemone is not required. If an appropriate host is desired, a Bubble Tip Anemone is a common choice. Anemones should only be placed in mature aquariums with suitable lighting and stable water conditions.
Important Purchase Information
This is not a WYSIWYG fish. Photographs represent the general variety and expected appearance. The exact fish received will vary naturally in pattern, coloration, shape and personality.
