Placement and Flow

Place the Green Tip Pink Birdsnest in the middle or upper portion of a mature reef aquarium where it will receive suitable light and consistent, indirect water movement.

Provide enough flow to reach between the branches as the coral grows, but avoid placing it directly in front of a powerful pump that could damage its delicate tissue.

Lighting and Acclimation

This coral performs best under medium to high reef lighting. Begin the coral in a slightly lower-light location and gradually move it toward its final placement to reduce the risk of light shock.

Stable Reef Conditions

Like other SPS corals, the Green Tip Pink Birdsnest requires stable salinity, temperature, alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium. Sudden changes in water chemistry may cause stress, reduced polyp extension, or tissue loss.
