Power auto top-off systems, media reactors, and other low-flow aquarium applications with the Neptune Systems PMUP v2 Practical Multipurpose Utility Pump.
The PMUP v2 is a compact 24V DC submersible pump designed to connect directly to a compatible DC24 accessory port on Neptune Systems equipment. It can be controlled through an Apex system when connected to an Energy Bar 832, 1LINK module, or compatible Fluid Monitoring Module.
Its compact footprint and maximum flow of approximately 100 GPH make it especially useful for auto top-off systems, carbon reactors, GFO reactors, biopellet reactors, and other applications that require controlled water movement without a large conventional pump.
Version 2 adds automatic dry-run protection, allowing the pump to shut down when it detects that it is operating without water. Its stable no-tip design also helps keep the pump properly positioned inside a reservoir or sump.
IMPORTANT POWER NOTICE
This listing includes the PMUP v2 pump only. A power supply is not included.
The pump requires a compatible Neptune Systems DC24 accessory port or a separately purchased Neptune Systems DC24 power supply. Verify your available connections before ordering.

APEX INTEGRATION
When connected to a controllable DC24 accessory port, the PMUP v2 can be switched on and off through compatible Apex programming.
This allows the pump to work with optical sensors, timers, alarms, maximum run-time limits, and other Apex safeguards when building or expanding an automated top-off system.
COMPATIBILITY
The PMUP v2 can connect to compatible DC24 accessory ports found on Neptune Systems equipment such as:
• Energy Bar 832
• 1LINK Module
• Compatible Fluid Monitoring Module configurations
Port availability varies by system. Confirm that your equipment has an unused, compatible DC24 accessory port before ordering.
A separate Neptune Systems DC24 power supply is required when the pump is not connected to a compatible powered accessory port.

• Maximum Flow: Approximately 100 GPH
• Maximum Head Pressure: Approximately 14 feet
• Power: 24V DC
• Power Consumption: Approximately 17 watts
DIMENSIONS
Approximately 4.58 inches high × 2.24 inches in diameter.
DRY-RUN PROTECTION
The PMUP v2 includes an automatic shutoff feature designed to help protect the pump when it detects that it is operating out of water.
Dry-run protection is an additional safeguard and should not replace proper installation, water-level monitoring, maximum run-time programming, or regular equipment inspection.
WHAT’S INCLUDED

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION
This pump is designed for submerged operation. Confirm that the pump is properly positioned and fully submerged before use.
When using the PMUP v2 in an automated top-off system, carefully test all sensors and Apex programming before leaving the system unattended. Redundant water-level sensors, maximum run-time limits, and other safeguards are strongly recommended.
