At the heart of the Helio system is a precision digital controller paired with a titanium remote temperature sensor that continuously communicates with the controller to verify accurate temperature readings. If an abnormal temperature change or sensor issue is detected, the controller immediately cuts power to your connected heaters and sounds an audible alarm to help protect your aquarium.

The Helio Universal Controller features dual heater outlets, allowing you to safely operate two standard aquarium heaters simultaneously for improved redundancy and more even heating throughout your aquarium. Supporting up to 1,000 watts total, it's an excellent choice for freshwater, saltwater, reef, and large display aquariums.

Unlike the Helio PTC Smart Heating System, this universal controller is designed to work with most standard 2-prong and 3-prong aquarium heaters, giving hobbyists the flexibility to use their preferred heating elements. Please note:This controller is not compatible with Innovative Marine Helio PTC Smart Heating Elements.
