Hammer Corals may extend sweeper tentacles, especially at night. Allow several inches of space between this colony and neighboring corals.

Feeding
Hammer Corals receive much of their energy from reef lighting but can benefit from occasional feeding with appropriately sized coral foods, mysis shrimp or finely chopped marine foods.
Avoid placing oversized food directly onto the tentacles or overfeeding the colony.
