A purpose-built coral fragging saw for precise cuts through hard skeleton. The Gryphon C-40 CR AquaSaw uses a narrow diamond-coated band blade and a wet cutting work surface to help you divide colonies, trim dead skeleton, and shape frags. Its corrosion-resistant components are designed for repeated work around saltwater. Choose the standard 37 inch model for everyday fragging or the 42 inch AquaSaw XL when you need extra vertical clearance.
Built for the reef workbench
- Controlled cuts: a continuous diamond band blade is easier to guide around irregular coral skeleton than a broad cutting wheel.
- Corrosion-resistant design: stainless steel wheel collars and blade, hard-anodized lower support, and a shield beneath the top-mounted motor help protect the working components from saltwater splash.
- Room to work: approximately one square foot of unobstructed table surface supports colonies while you line up each cut.
- Direct-drive motor: no belts or pulleys to adjust; upper and lower blade guides support the blade.
- Wet cutting: the water reservoir sits below the work table. Follow Gryphon’s instructions for setup, water level, cleaning, and blade tension.

Power: both variants in this listing are US-voltage models for 100–130V, 50/60Hz operation. The 230V international versions are separate products. The 37 and 42 inch blades are different lengths and are not interchangeable.
