MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

Use clean RO/DI water with a TDS below 10 ppm—0 ppm is preferred. Begin with water between 70–75°F and slowly add the salt while circulating the water with a mixing pump or air stone.

Using a properly calibrated refractometer, adjust the salinity between 28–35 ppt, or approximately 1.021–1.026 specific gravity. Once the solution is clear, heat the mixed water to the temperature of your aquarium and allow it to circulate for at least two hours before completing a water change.

Never add dry salt directly to an aquarium containing fish, corals, or other livestock.

STORAGE

Reseal the bag securely after opening and store it in a cool, dry location away from moisture.

Aquarium salt is considered a consumable product. Opened or used salt mix cannot be returned. Unopened returns must meet our standard return requirements. Please inspect the package before opening and contact us promptly if it arrives damaged.
