Automated Alkalinity Testing. Smarter Stability. Healthier Reefs.

Take the guesswork out of maintaining one of the most important reef parameters with the Focustronic Alkatronic. This advanced automated alkalinity controller continuously monitors dKH, tracks pH during every test, and can automatically respond to changes in your reef aquarium to help maintain exceptional stability. Watch the product video below to see how the Alkatronic helps automate one of the most critical aspects of reef keeping.

Product Description

The Focustronic Alkatronic is a fully automated alkalinity monitoring and control system designed specifically for serious reef aquariums.

Using a precision pH-based titration method, the Alkatronic accurately measures alkalinity (dKH) throughout the day and can automatically dose alkalinity or communicate with compatible equipment to help keep your reef stable.

Rather than relying on manual test kits, the Alkatronic performs scheduled tests automatically, records long-term trends, sends alerts, and allows you to monitor your aquarium from virtually anywhere using the Focustronic mobile app.

Key Features

Fully Automated Alkalinity Testing

Automatically measures alkalinity (dKH) on a customizable schedule with laboratory-level precision.

Precision pH-Based Titration

Provides outstanding measurement accuracy of approximately:

• ±0.05 dKH precision
• ±0.1 dKH accuracy

Helping maintain one of the most important parameters in reef keeping.

Automatic Alkalinity Correction

The Alkatronic can automatically dose alkalinity using its internal dosing capabilities or communicate with compatible equipment to help maintain your target dKH level.

Smart App Control

Monitor and manage your aquarium using the Focustronic All-In-One App.

Features include:

• Live alkalinity readings
• Historical graphs
• Push notifications
• Custom testing schedules
• Remote monitoring
• Multiple aquarium support

Compatible with Popular Controllers

Works alongside many popular reef systems, including:

• Neptune Apex
• GHL
• Focustronic Dosetronic

Compatible through supported integrations and communication options.

Standalone Operation

No separate dosing system is required for basic operation.

For advanced automatic dosing adjustments, the Alkatronic can be paired with the Focustronic Dosetronic, allowing dosing to automatically adjust based on your aquarium's alkalinity consumption.

Why Monitor Alkalinity?

Stable alkalinity is one of the most important factors for maintaining:

• SPS Coral Growth
• LPS Coral Health
• Consistent pH
• Coral Coloration
• Long-Term Reef Stability

Because alkalinity can change rapidly, automated monitoring allows you to identify problems before they become major issues.
