Designed to connect directly to compatible canister filter systems, this compact UV clarifier helps eliminate suspended bacteria and free-floating algae that cause cloudy and green water—without the use of chemicals. It connects inline with 16 mm (5/8") filter tubing and is compatible with Fluval 06 and 07 Series canister filters.
Using advanced 3W CCFL (Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) technology, the UVC Clarifier delivers powerful UV light at the optimal germicidal wavelength while operating cooler than traditional UV bulbs. The long-life lamp is rated for up to 30,000 hours of operation, reducing maintenance while helping maintain consistently clear water.
Its compact design installs neatly inside most aquarium cabinets without adding clutter, and the included timer allows you to operate the unit from 4 to 24 hours depending on your aquarium's needs. Safe for freshwater, saltwater, and turtle aquariums, the Fluval UVC Clarifier is an excellent solution for preventing recurring green water and bacterial blooms.
