Important Installation Information

The EHEIM reeflexUV+e is an inline UV sterilizer and does not include a circulation pump. It must be connected to a compatible canister filter, return pump, or dedicated circulation pump.

UV performance depends on the rate at which water passes through the sterilizer. Use the lower recommended flow rate when targeting free-floating microorganisms and infectious parasite stages. The higher flow rate may be used when the primary goal is controlling green water or bacterial cloudiness.

A UV sterilizer is a supplemental aquarium-management tool. It only treats organisms suspended in the water as they pass through the unit. It does not eliminate parasites or organisms already attached to fish, rocks, substrate, or aquarium surfaces.
