Dymax Reef Eclipse Marine LED Light

Premium LED Lighting for Nano Reef Aquariums (Up to 15 Gallons)

Give your nano reef the lighting it deserves with the Dymax Reef Eclipse Marine LED. Designed specifically for compact marine aquariums, this sleek 12-watt fixture provides a reef-optimized spectrum that enhances coral coloration while supporting healthy growth for many beginner and intermediate reef inhabitants.

Whether you're building your very first saltwater aquarium or upgrading the lighting on a nano reef, the Reef Eclipse offers an affordable, energy-efficient solution without sacrificing performance.

Its slim profile keeps the focus on your aquarium—not the light above it.

Why Quality Lighting Matters

Light is one of the most important pieces of equipment on a reef aquarium.

Corals contain microscopic algae called zooxanthellae that use light to produce energy through photosynthesis. Providing the proper spectrum allows corals to grow, maintain vibrant coloration, and remain healthy over time.

Choosing a reef-specific LED also helps your fish display their natural colors while giving your aquarium the crisp blue appearance reef hobbyists love.

What Can This Light Grow?

The Dymax Reef Eclipse is an excellent choice for hobbyists keeping:

Zoanthids

Mushroom Corals

Kenya Trees

Leather Corals

Green Star Polyps

Xenia

Duncan Corals

Candy Cane Corals

Many beginner-friendly LPS corals

It is also an excellent option for fish-only saltwater aquariums.

Is This Light Right For SPS Corals?

While this fixture produces a reef-optimized spectrum, it is not intended for demanding SPS-dominant reef aquariumsor larger systems where higher light intensity is required.

If your goal is keeping Acropora, Montipora, or other high-light SPS corals, we recommend stepping up to a more powerful lighting system.
