Stable water conditions are more important than chasing exact numbers. Avoid placing the coral directly under intense lighting or in strong, turbulent flow.

Placement and Acclimation

Begin by placing the coral in a low-light, low-flow area. Gradually increase lighting exposure if necessary while monitoring its response.

Discosoma mushrooms may expand beyond the size shown in photographs once acclimated and fully opened. Provide adequate room between this coral and nearby sessile invertebrates because mushrooms can spread as they grow and reproduce.

Live corals ship by FedEx Priority Overnight in an insulated container with appropriate temperature-control materials.

• Live-animal shipping is $39.99 per order
• Live livestock ships Monday through Wednesday
• Orders containing $300 or more in eligible live livestock qualify for free live shipping
• Someone should be available to receive the package at delivery
• Shipping may be delayed when weather conditions could place the coral at risk

Live Arrival Guarantee

Any live-arrival concern must be reported within 12 hours of delivery. Clear photographs of the coral in its unopened shipping bag and out of the water may be required.
