Care, Feeding & Compatibility

Not reef safe. Can eat corals, anemones, clams, sponges and tube worms. Choose a fish-only system with suitable tankmates; avoid puffers, triggers and harlequin shrimp.

Provide a mature aquarium of at least 30 gallons with sand, open floor space and stable salinity. Offer small marine meaty foods directly every few days; it cannot live on aquarium waste alone. Handle gently without pulling its arms or tube feet.

Water Quality & Acclimation

Use a stable, fully cycled marine system. Avoid sudden temperature or salinity changes and copper medications. Follow the supplied arrival instructions; handle gently and allow sheltered settling time.

Prepare for Arrival

We recommend the Simplicity Drip Acclimation Kit for controlled acclimation when directed by the arrival instructions. Sold separately; dry-goods shipping may apply.

Live Animal Disclosure
