Compatibility

Blood Red Fire Shrimp are compatible with most peaceful reef fish, corals, shrimp, snails, and other reef-safe invertebrates. They thrive in established reef aquariums with plenty of caves and rockwork where they can retreat during the day.

Avoid housing with predatory fish such as Lionfish, Triggerfish, Puffers, Hawkfish, or large Wrasses that may prey on shrimp.

Fire Shrimp may be kept singly or as a bonded pair. In larger aquariums with ample hiding places, they can also coexist with other cleaner shrimp species.
