Your Apex monitors the aquarium. The AvidAqua InSight Pro makes that information easy to see. Its bright 4-inch color touchscreen gives you a dedicated view of your tank’s available controller data, whether you place it beside the aquarium, on your desk, or elsewhere in your home.

InSight Pro also looks beyond the tank. Built-in sensors monitor room CO2, temperature, humidity, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Those readings give you more context about the environment surrounding your reef—especially helpful when you’re trying to understand low pH or conditions inside an enclosed fish room.

Made for the way you watch your aquarium

InSight Pro communicates with a compatible Neptune Systems Apex over your local Wi-Fi network. It does not need a data cable running back to the controller, and local communication with the Apex does not require an internet connection. Position the display where it is useful to you; multiple InSight displays can connect to the same Apex if you want a view in more than one room.

Use AvidAqua’s MyAquarium companion app to configure the display and personalize its screen layout. The display itself requires a separate USB-C power connection.

You will also need: A compatible Neptune Systems Apex controller and a USB-C power supply rated at least 5W. The controller, USB-C power supply, and ModMag magnetic mount are not included.

Important setup warning: Do not plug InSight Pro into an Apex AquaBus port. AquaBus ports may look like USB connections, but they are not USB power ports. Connecting the display to one can damage it. Use a suitable USB-C power supply instead.
