Arrow Crab (Stenorhynchus seticornis) – Marine Ornamental Crab

Long, slender legs and an angular body give this ornamental crab a striking silhouette among rock crevices.

What You Receive

One live animal.

Care, Feeding & Compatibility

Compatibility requires care. This opportunistic feeder eats worms and other small invertebrates. It may threaten small shrimp, ornamental worms and vulnerable tankmates; it is not a universally reef-safe cleanup animal.

Provide a roomy, established marine aquarium with hiding places and stable rockwork. Feed suitable marine meaty foods deliberately and avoid crowded communities. Keep away from predatory fish and assess compatibility before combining with other crabs. Do not rely on it as guaranteed pest control.

Water Quality & Acclimation

Use a stable, fully cycled marine system. Avoid sudden temperature or salinity changes and copper medications. Follow the supplied arrival instructions; handle gently and allow sheltered settling time.

Prepare for Arrival

We recommend the Simplicity Drip Acclimation Kit for controlled acclimation when directed by the arrival instructions. Sold separately; dry-goods shipping may apply.
