The TUNZE DOC Skimmer 9415 is designed for saltwater aquariums up to 400 gallons, combining high air intake, efficient water processing, low power consumption, and TUNZE's Anti-Overfoaming System in a skimmer designed for sump and aquarium cabinet installations.

Built around the TUNZE Hydrofoamer Silence, the DOC 9415 provides strong organic waste removal while consuming only 15 watts of power.

High-Performance Protein Skimming

The DOC 9415 processes approximately 238 gallons of water per hour while drawing up to 264 gallons of air per hour.

The internal mixing cylinder stabilizes foam production and helps deliver bubble-free output water, while the large collection cup provides approximately 0.5 gallons / 2 liters of waste capacity.

Anti-Overfoaming System

TUNZE's patented Anti-Overfoaming System responds to changes in aquarium water level and surface tension.

If foam production increases excessively, the skimmer automatically reduces bubble production to help control over-skimming. Once conditions stabilize, normal operation resumes.

Hydrofoamer Silence

The included Hydrofoamer Silence is engineered specifically for TUNZE DOC protein skimmers, combining high air output with low energy consumption and quiet operation.

The DOC 9415 operates at just 15 watts, making it an efficient filtration option even for larger marine systems.

Removable Post-Filter

The DOC 9415 features a removable post-filter using 300-micron nylon mesh for additional mechanical filtration.

The post-filter can also hold compatible filtration media such as activated carbon or phosphate-removal media, adding flexibility to the filtration system.

Designed for Large Marine Aquariums

TUNZE rates the DOC 9415 for saltwater aquariums up to 1,500 liters / 400 gallons under appropriate conditions.

Actual recommended aquarium size should be reduced for systems with greater filtration demands, particularly SPS reefs and heavily stocked aquariums. TUNZE specifically recommends adjusting skimmer sizing based on livestock and organic load.
