Adjustable Flow Control

Every aquarium and plumbing system creates a different amount of resistance. The included controller allows you to adjust the pump’s output without installing a restrictive valve or replacing the pump.

Increase the flow for higher-demand systems or reduce it to match your overflow, filtration equipment and desired turnover rate.

Convenient Feed Mode

Press the feed button to pause water flow for 10 minutes during feeding or aquarium maintenance. The pump automatically resumes operation after the feed cycle, helping prevent the system from being accidentally left off.

Choosing the Correct Pump

Pump selection should be based on aquarium volume, vertical head height, plumbing length, pipe diameter, elbows, valves and connected equipment. The advertised maximum flow is measured without the resistance created by aquarium plumbing.

Actual flow at the aquarium will be lower after accounting for head pressure and plumbing restrictions. Select a model that provides enough remaining flow at your system’s operating head height.
