Stable water chemistry is essential for long-term health, growth and coloration. Avoid sudden changes in lighting, salinity, alkalinity or nutrient levels.
Placement and Lighting
Place the coral in the middle to upper portion of the aquarium where it will receive medium-to-high lighting and strong, irregular water movement. Avoid directing a concentrated powerhead stream straight at the coral.
Light acclimation is recommended. Begin the coral in a slightly lower-light area or use an acclimation setting before gradually moving it into its final position.
Feeding
The ORA Aussie Orchid Berry Acropora receives most of its energy through photosynthesis. Supplemental feeding with fine coral foods, amino acids or appropriately sized plankton may support growth and coloration but is not required.
