The DŌS QuietDrive is a programmable two-channel peristaltic dosing system designed to work with compatible Neptune Systems A2 and A3 Series Apex controllers. Through Apex Fusion, each pump head can be programmed to deliver precise amounts of calcium, alkalinity, trace elements, supplements, or other compatible aquarium fluids.

Its wide variable flow range supports micro-dosing as little as 0.1 mL along with higher-volume applications such as automatic water changes. QuietDrive technology and continuous-duty operating modes provide quieter performance during extended dosing and fluid-transfer routines.

The DŌS QD includes a 1LINK cable for combined power and communication when connected to a compatible 1LINK port, such as those available on the Neptune Systems Energy Bar 832 or 1LINK module.

The DŌS QuietDrive is not a standalone dosing pump.

A compatible Neptune Systems A2 or A3 Series Apex controller is required for programming and operation. The included 1LINK cable must connect to a compatible powered 1LINK port.

TWO INDEPENDENT DOSING HEADS

Each pump head can be programmed independently through Apex Fusion. This makes the DŌS QD ideal for paired additives such as calcium and alkalinity or for automatic water changes where one pump removes aquarium water while the other adds freshly mixed replacement water.

QUIETDRIVE OPERATION

The DŌS QD incorporates QuietDrive technology to reduce operating noise compared with the original DŌS design.

Quiet operating modes are especially helpful when the dosing system is installed near living spaces, bedrooms, offices, or display aquariums.

CONTINUOUS-DUTY MODES

At supported flow rates up to approximately 25 mL per minute, the DŌS QD can operate continuously. Continuous operation provides additional flexibility for extended additive delivery and automatic water-change routines.

AUTOMATIC WATER CHANGES

Using both pump heads, the DŌS QD can remove old aquarium water while replacing it with freshly prepared saltwater according to a schedule configured in Apex Fusion.

The system can exchange up to approximately 30 gallons per day at higher operating speeds or approximately 12 gallons per day within its quieter operating range, depending on installation conditions and programming.

All water-change installations must be carefully calibrated, tested, and protected against siphoning, leaks, empty reservoirs, blocked tubing, and incorrect programming.

PRECISE ADDITIVE DOSING

Apex Fusion setup tasks help distribute a selected daily dosing volume across a programmed period. Spreading additives across multiple smaller doses can help reduce sudden changes in aquarium chemistry.

When used with compatible Neptune Systems Trident equipment, the DŌS QD can also support Trident Controlled Dosing. Compatible Trident equipment is sold separately.

DDR RESERVOIR COMPATIBILITY

The DŌS QD includes an accessory connection for the Neptune Systems DDR Dual Reservoir. When paired with the DDR, optical sensors can notify the Apex system when dosing solutions are running low.

IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INFORMATION

The DŌS QD is an external dosing system and must be installed in a dry location protected from splashes, leaks, salt spray, and condensation.

Position tubing to prevent siphoning and backflow. Regularly inspect the pump heads, internal tubing, external tubing, fittings, reservoirs, and calibration accuracy.
