What You Receive

One fish per unit. Supplier offered size is approximately 2.25–3.5 inches. Photos are representative; actual size, color, and sex vary. A particular sex is not guaranteed by this listing.

Care & Compatibility

• Care level: moderate; frequent feeding and stable conditions are essential.
• Adult size: approximately 5 inches.
• Temperament: semi-aggressive; social hierarchy and aggression within groups require management.
• Reef compatible, with ample open swimming space and sheltered retreats.
• Plan a spacious aquarium around 125–130 gallons or larger, especially for groups; stocking and footprint matter.

Group keeping requires careful sex ratios, sufficient space, and a separation plan. Females may transition to males as the social hierarchy changes. Avoid adding multiple males to a confined aquarium.

Feeding for Long-Term Success

Offer several small meals throughout the day: frozen mysis, enriched brine shrimp, and appropriately sized planktonic marine foods. Acclimate to prepared pellets or flakes gradually. Ensure each fish feeds; a refugium or live-food supplement does not replace a reliable feeding routine.

Water & Arrival

Use a fully cycled aquarium with undetectable ammonia and nitrite, stable salinity around 1.024–1.026, pH around 8.1–8.4, and tropical marine temperatures around 75–78°F. Follow supplied acclimation instructions and maintain a species-appropriate quarantine setup. Supplier preparation is not a disease-free guarantee or a replacement for your own quarantine.
