Mobius App Control

Every Vectra pump is Mobius-ready, allowing you to control and configure the pump through the free Mobius app on a compatible iOS or Android device.

Mobius control allows you to:

Return-Pump Operation

When configured as a return pump, the Vectra provides adjustable, consistent circulation between the aquarium and filtration system. Its calibration feature helps establish appropriate minimum and maximum flow settings for your particular aquarium and plumbing configuration.

Closed-Loop Operation

The Vectra can also power a closed-loop circulation system. Closed-loop operation provides access to variable-flow patterns that can help create more natural water movement without placing a traditional circulation pump inside the aquarium display.

Flexible Installation

The sealed magnetic-drive motor allows the Vectra to be installed either:

• Submerged inside a sump
• Externally in a properly plumbed inline configuration

The rotatable volute and included QuickCouple fittings provide greater flexibility when connecting the pump to your aquarium’s plumbing.

Battery Backup Compatibility

Vectra pumps are compatible with the EcoTech Marine Battery Backup system. When properly connected, a battery backup can provide reduced-flow circulation during a power outage.

Battery backup equipment is sold separately, and runtime will vary according to the pump model, operating speed, battery condition, and connected equipment.
