Duncan Coral is a colorful, hardy LPS coral known for its fleshy polyps, bright coloration, and flowing tentacles. Its combination of attractive movement and relatively forgiving care requirements makes it a popular choice for both newer reef keepers and experienced hobbyists.
Duncan specimen is sold as a 3–4 head Duncan colony approximately 1–2 inches in size. The supplier describes the coral as vibrant green with purple-tipped polyps and recommends low-to-moderate lighting and flow.

Placement & Care
Duncan Corals generally thrive under low to moderate lighting with gentle to moderate water movement. Enough flow should be provided to keep the polyps moving naturally without constantly blasting or retracting them.
Allow adequate space between the Duncan and neighboring corals as the colony grows.
Feeding
Although Duncan Corals receive much of their energy through photosynthesis, they can also capture food with their tentacles.
Occasional target feeding with appropriately sized foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, finely chopped marine foods, or quality coral foods may support growth and polyp development.
Growing Your Duncan Colony
Duncans are branching LPS corals capable of developing additional heads under favorable reef conditions. Stable alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, salinity, and temperature are important for healthy skeletal growth.
With proper conditions, a small multi-head Duncan can develop into an impressive colony over time.
