25 Gallon Standard Reef Cleanup Crew

Give your reef aquarium the perfect foundation with our 25 Gallon Standard Reef Cleanup Crew. Carefully selected for aquariums up to approximately 25 gallons, this balanced cleanup crew works together to control nuisance algae, consume leftover food, clean live rock, and keep your sand bed healthy.

Rather than relying on a single species, this package combines algae grazers, scavengers, and sand cleaners to create a well-rounded maintenance team that helps support a cleaner, healthier reef aquarium.

Package Includes

  • 8 Assorted Red & Blue Leg Hermit Crabs

  • 4 Scarlet Reef Hermit Crabs

  • 5 XL Nassarius Snails

  • 5 Astrea Snails

  • 5 Cerith Snails

  • 3 Tropical Turbo Snails

Occasionally, substitutions of equal or greater value may be necessary due to seasonal availability to ensure your cleanup crew ships on schedule.

Why This Cleanup Crew Works

Each member of this cleanup crew serves a specific purpose:

  • Blue & Red Leg Hermits – Consume nuisance algae, detritus, and leftover food while cleaning tight spaces.

  • Scarlet Reef Hermits – Excellent grazers known for consuming hair algae, film algae, and cyanobacteria.

  • XL Nassarius Snails – Burrow through the sand bed, aerating the substrate while consuming leftover food and organic waste.

  • Astrea Snails – Outstanding algae grazers that help keep rocks and aquarium glass clean.

  • Cerith Snails – Excellent for cleaning rockwork, glass, and substrate while feeding on film algae and detritus.

  • Tropical Turbo Snails – Powerful algae eaters capable of tackling heavier algae growth on rockwork and aquarium walls.

Together, these invertebrates provide comprehensive maintenance throughout the entire aquarium.
